Every dealership website visitor, turned into a CRM-ready lead.
A white-label sales assistant that agencies can sell to dealerships as their own product. Shoppers compare cars and book test drives in the chat; every lead lands in the dealer’s CRM automatically.
What it was. What it is now.
- Shopper questions waited for a salesperson, often until the next day
- Comparing two cars meant bouncing between pages and tabs
- Test drives booked through phone tag
- Leads re-keyed by hand into the dealer’s CRM from email transcripts
- Instant answers, any time, any day
- Side-by-side car comparisons inside the chat
- Test drives booked in the conversation
- Every lead delivered straight into the dealer’s CRM, in the industry’s own format
In late 2023, AI assistants for car dealerships were suddenly everywhere, but the venture-backed tools had two blind spots: agencies couldn’t resell them under their own name, and they only worked in one chat window while dealerships were asking for more channels.
Kari Harder, founder of New Avenue (Vancouver), saw the opening: an AI sales assistant that agencies could sell to dealerships as their own product. New Avenue’s first partner was a long-established automotive marketing agency. Kari had the vision and the designs; she brought it to Levelfeed, who built the product.
What we found first
We followed a car shopper from a dealership’s website to the salesperson’s desk, and a new dealership from signing up to going live.
| What we found | What it cost | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| Shopper questions on dealership websites waited for staff, often until the next day | Est. many enquiries answered too late to matter | Automated: instant answers, 24/7 |
| Shoppers comparing two models bounced between pages and tabs | Drop-off before they ever enquire | Automated: side-by-side vehicle comparisons in the chat |
| Test drives booked through phone tag | Bookings lost between calls | Automated: booked in the conversation |
| Chat leads arrived as email transcripts, re-keyed into the dealer’s CRM by hand | Slow follow-up, lost details, missed leads | Automated: every lead delivered into the dealer’s CRM, in the industry’s own format |
| Every installation needed the dealership’s web team; every update meant reinstalling | Growth limited by other people’s calendars | Automated: one line of code, installed once. Updates reach every dealership automatically |
| Nobody could see what shoppers were actually asking | Dealers couldn’t see what the assistant was worth | Automated: conversations collected and sorted by question, model and intent |
| Live inventory feeds differ by dealership | Different data sources for each dealership | Parked: phase 2 |
| SMS and phone follow-up | A further channel | Parked: scoped for later |
Estimates are the working figures we used to rank the list, not numbers reported by the client.
