Platform extensions · Voiceflow & Botpress

The features the platforms didn’t have, until we built them.

In 2023, agencies building AI assistants on Voiceflow and Botpress kept hitting the same walls. We built the missing pieces, taught them publicly, and ended up working with both platforms’ leadership.

The change

What it was. What it is now.

Before
  • No way to take payment inside the chat
  • No file or image uploads
  • No way to book a meeting without leaving the conversation
  • No connection to Instagram or Messenger
After
  • Payments in the chat, ready to add
  • File and image uploads, ready to add
  • Meeting booking, inline or as a pop-up
  • Instagram and Facebook Messenger connections
The situation

Voiceflow and Botpress made it possible for any agency to build an AI assistant. But real clients kept asking for things the platforms couldn’t yet do: take a payment in the chat, upload a file or photo, book a meeting without leaving, work on Instagram.

Every agency building on these platforms was stuck on the same gaps. We built the missing pieces once, and made them available to anyone building on Voiceflow or Botpress.

The hard part

Word got back to the platforms themselves.

Voiceflow’s Head of Growth reached out to recruit us for its marketplace. Botpress’s CEO personally invited us into its partner program. When a bug in the platform broke a client’s live assistant, we traced it to its source, and Botpress shipped a fix.

“There are a few others building but you’re definitely the farthest and most aligned with the vision.”

Daniel D’Souza, Head of Growth, Voiceflow

We were made a Community Champion, invited to Voiceflow’s private product sessions and early betas, and published functions on its official marketplace.

What we found first

The gaps every builder kept hitting

We tracked what agencies on Voiceflow and Botpress were asked for, and what each one was building alone to deliver it.

What changed

For builders, and for the platforms

FOR BUILDERS
  • A ready-made extension for the feature their client asked for, not a build from scratch
  • A tutorial and a walkthrough with each one, live in minutes instead of days
  • Payments, uploads, booking, Instagram — the gaps every agency was hitting, solved once
FOR THE PLATFORMS
  • Voiceflow made us a Community Champion, with access to private product sessions and early betas
  • Functions published on Voiceflow’s official marketplace
  • Botpress’s CEO invited us into its partner program; we became a certified partner
How it works

Four steps, from gap to live

  1. Hit a gapAn agency’s client asks for something the platform doesn’t do yet: payment, upload, booking, Instagram.
  2. Find the extensionA ready-made piece for Voiceflow or Botpress, each with its own tutorial.
  3. Add itLicensed per assistant, added to a client’s bot in minutes.
  4. Go liveThe feature works inside the same conversation, no separate build.
